Car Being Scratched

Here are some tips from Policeman Pete on safety on parking cars: " when you park your car, do remember to remove the ignition key, wind up all the windows and lock all the doors even if you leave your car for a short period a brief moment is all it takes for a theft to drive off your car.
park in a well-lit location whenever you can. dark and secluded places are ideal for thieves to commit the crime
do not leave valuables such as your briefcase, handbag, laptop or handphone in your vehicle. also remove the cash card from your in vehicle unit when you leave your vehicle . a thief may smash the window or windscreen to get it.
install and alarm system which immobilises your vehicle once it is activated . this will prevent the thief from driing your vehicle away.
use additional locks . additional locks such as a steering wheel lock , clutch and brake lock, disc lock or gear lock not only provides added secuirity also deter thieves."
Hope that these advices will help us in preventing crimes.
